A big THANK YOU to all the teachers,\u00a0 parents and operations team members for all your support and hard work this year. I am so proud of what we accomplished together as a community and truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you.\u00a0 On behalf of the PCLS operations team, I wish you a wonderful summer!\u00a0 I look forward to seeing you again in September.<\/p>\n

This newsletter would be the last one for SY22-23. I\u2019ll start sending weekly newsletters again in September.\u00a0 In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at\u00a0principal@pcls.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Parent Duty Refund<\/span><\/p>\n

If you completed\u00a02 parent duties\u00a0this year but you didn\u2019t pick up your refund check on 6\/4, the check will be mailed to the address you listed in the registration system.\u00a0 If you have moved, please kindly send an email with your family ID & child(ren)\u2019s name(s) to our treasurer at your earliest convenience:\u00a0\u00a0treasurer@pcls.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You may also choose to donate the parent duty refund.\u00a0 Please also let me know if you would like to do so.\u00a0 Thank you in advance for your generosity!<\/p>\n

Summer YoYo Classes<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Chinese YoYo instructor, Kevin, will be offering summer yoyo classes Sunday afternoons in West Windsor starting in July for those students who want to continue to improve on their yoyo skills in the\u00a0summer.\u00a0 This will be a student-funded, semi-private class and limited spots are available.\u00a0 If you are interested, please email\u00a0principal@pcls.org<\/a>\u00a0for dates \/ cost details.<\/p>\n

Volunteer Opportunity at the NCACLS Annual Conference 8\/5 and 8\/6<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be volunteer opportunities available for\u00a0adults<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0teenagers<\/a>\u00a0(G7-G12) at the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools Annual Conference on August 5-6 in Holmdel, NJ (Holiday Inn, 2870 Highway 35, Hazlet, NJ 07730).\u00a0 Free lunch is provided!\u00a0 If you are interested in volunteering, please kindly complete the respective Google form above by 7\/9\/23 and send me a message at\u00a0principal@pcls.org<\/a>\u00a0to let me know that you will be participating on behalf of PCLS.<\/p>\n

SY23-24 Teaching Assistant (\u201cTA\u201d) Application<\/span><\/p>\n

We are now accepting TA application for the 2023-2024 school year. You must be 14 years old by 8\/31\/2023 to be eligible to apply.\u00a0 It\u2019s a great way to give back to the community, share what you\u2019ve learned at PCLS and also earn volunteer hours.\u00a0 Please click on\u00a0this Google form<\/a>\u00a0for more information and to apply.<\/p>\n
