\u201cBack to School\u201d Meeting<\/span><\/p>\n

The language class \u201cBack to School\u201d meeting with teachers will take place this Sunday, 9\/24 at 2:30PM.\u00a0\u00a0Parents – please take your kid(s) directly to the cafeteria between 2:25 – 2:30 PM\u00a0and you can then head to your respective classroom for the meeting.<\/strong>\u00a0 Students should sit with their classmates (tables will be marked by class).\u00a0 After the meeting is over, the admins \/ TAs \/ T10 students will escort the students back to their classroom.<\/p>\n

Zumba Open House<\/span><\/p>\n

Zumba is a fun, energetic dance workout that makes you feel amazing!\u00a0 Try one class for free this Sunday at the Lower Gym between 3-4PM.\u00a0 Please wear appropriate exercise clothing \/ shoes and complete\u00a0a waiver<\/a>\u00a0before class.<\/p>\n

    Parking<\/strong> – please don\u2019t park in the closest 2 lanes to the building (see the yellow lines on the attached map) and use \u201cParents Parking\u201d instead.\u00a0 These spots are reserved for our teachers.\u00a0 We will continue to enforce reserved parking. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    PCLS Student Guidelines<\/strong> – PCLS strive to build a supportive, nurturing and safe learning environment. It is the responsibility of the parents to review the Student Code of Conduct<\/a> with your child(ren) and make sure they understand the behavioral expectations. \u00a0 NO LANGUAGE OR ACTS OF VIOLENCE<\/strong> will be tolerated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    ABSOLUTELY NO EATING<\/strong> in classrooms or in the building except for younger kids during recess. Younger kids are allowed to eat at the cafeteria during recess time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Enter the building through only the Main Entrance (see attached map). DO NOT prop any other doors open.\u00a0 Students who go out to play in the playground during recess should return through the Main Entrance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This Sunday, 9\/25, is the last day your child(ren) can try a different language class<\/span>, please email me (academic@pcls.org<\/a>) your decision on which class to stay in by Friday, 9\/29.<\/p>\n

    Taiwanese Class<\/span><\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re interested in learning Taiwanese, we offer Taiwanese Class from 1:45-2:30 pm. Please contact me (academic@pcls.org<\/a>) for more information.<\/p>\n

    Culture Class Changes\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Culture class change request is now open. Each student has\u00a0ONE CHANCE\u00a0<\/b><\/span>to request culture class change.\u00a0 Please complete the\u00a0Culture Class Change Request Google form<\/a>\u00a0by 9\/22\/2023.\u00a0Requests will be processed between 9\/18 – 9\/22 in the order received. As class availability is subject to change, please provide at least 2 different choices in the form.\u00a0 You will receive an email confirmation between 9\/22 to 9\/24.<\/p>\n

    Class Waivers<\/span><\/p>\n

    Students in the following classes are required to sign\u00a0a waiver<\/a>:\u00a0 Taekwondo \/ YoYo \/ Dance \/ Basketball.<\/p>\n

    Please note, if any events\/parent duty signups are canceled\/moved, it is\u00a0the family\u2019s responsibility\u00a0to sign up for another parent duty or the rescheduled time to fulfill the requirement in order to receive the deposit.
