Message from Principal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear PCLS Families,
\nAs we welcome the Year of the Horse, I want to wish our entire school community a very Happy Lunar New Year!
\nWhile our recent winter snow storms necessitated a change in plans, our spirit of celebration remains high. Because of those storms, we have postponed our official festivities, and we are now very much looking forward to our Lunar New Year celebration on March 8th.
\nThis season is a beautiful time to reflect on family, gratitude, and renewal. May this new year bring your home an abundance of health, happiness, and prosperity. We look forward to seeing everyone come together in March to celebrate our vibrant traditions.
\nAs we prepare for these celebrations and spend more time together in the building, I must also share an important reminder about how we care for our school home.
\nLately, we have noticed students playing in the bathrooms; last Sunday, a urinal filter from in the Shepard\u2019s Common men\u2019s room was found removed and thrown on the floor. While we want our students to have fun at PCLS, the bathrooms are not play areas. Please remind your children to treat our school property with respect so we can maintain a clean environment for everyone.<\/p>\n

PCLS will host the \u201cChinese Story Telling Contest\u201d on 2\/22\/2026. We cordially invite all students to participate. Speaking is one of the key components in Chinese language learning. In addition to daily conversations and reciting textbook contents, \u201cstory-telling\u201d is a fun way to practice speaking and communicating in Chinese.<\/p>\n

If any events\/parent duty signups are canceled\/moved, it is the family\u2019s responsibility to fulfill another parent duty in order to receive the deposit.<\/p>\n
