Recently, we have noticed an increasing number of students remaining on campus long after classes have ended\u2014some as late as <span dir=\"ltr\">5:30 PM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We want to emphasize that our pick-up policy is not about the late fees; it is about ensuring no child is ever left alone. When a student is not picked up by <span dir=\"ltr\">5:11 PM<\/span>, they face a high-risk situation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lack of Supervision: Admins and teachers may not be aware a student is still in the building as they pack up to leave.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Building Safety: A student left behind could find themselves alone in an empty building or, even worse, wander outside into the parking lot or off-campus while trying to find their parents.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Please remember our <a href=\"http:\/\/pcls.org\/?page_id=79\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">dismissal policy<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Classes <span dir=\"ltr\">end at 5:00 PM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The grace period <span dir=\"ltr\">ends at 5:11 PM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After <span dir=\"ltr\">5:11 PM<\/span>, a late fee of $1 per minute will be applied.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We ask for your cooperation in arriving on time.
