We look forward to seeing everyone on our <b>first day of school, Sunday, September 13, 2026<\/b>, at <b>Princeton Day School (650 Great Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Class Schedule:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Taiwanese class: 1:45 &#8211; 2:30 PM (if registered)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Language class: 2:30 &#8211; 4:15 PM<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Culture class: 4:20 &#8211; 5:00 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the full school calendar, please click <a href=\"http:\/\/pcls.org\/?page_id=643\">PCLS SY26-27 Calendar<\/a>. You should have also received a confirmation email with your child\u2019s language and culture class assignments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Getting Around Campus:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Please use the <b>Main Entrance only<\/b> (see attached pictures). All other doors remain locked for security.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Classroom maps will be posted, and PCLS volunteers wearing shirts, vests, or badges will be available to help.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">For younger or new students, we recommend that parents remain on campus during the first few weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>New! <\/b><\/span><b>Personal Device Policy:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In alignment with New Jersey\u2019s new <b>bell-to-bell personal device policy<\/b>, PCLS students may not use personal internet-enabled devices during school hours, including class time and recess.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">We strongly encourage students to leave cell phones and other personal devices at home.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">If brought to school, devices must be <b>turned off and kept away<\/b> throughout the school day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Teachers may provide a designated storage area for devices during class.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Parents who need to reach their child during school hours should contact the <b>PCLS Admin Table<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Parking:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Please leave the two rows closest to the building for teachers (they carry materials each week). Parents should use designated parking areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Facility Rules:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>No eating in classrooms<\/b>. Students may eat in the cafeteria during recess.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Do not open or use PDS lockers.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The lower level is only for students and adults attending scheduled activities, e.g. dance, Zumba.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Student Conduct:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>PCLS is a safe, supportive learning community. Please review the <a href=\"http:\/\/pcls.org\/?page_id=79\">Code of Conduct<\/a> with your child(ren). Violence, inappropriate language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Payment:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">If tuition is still outstanding, please <b>pay via Zelle before the first day <\/b>or <b>bring a check to the Admin Table on the first day<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Students with outstanding tuition will <b>not receive textbooks until payment is completed<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Tuition checks will be deposited <b>within one week of receipt<\/b>. Please ensure sufficient funds are available.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Parent duty refund checks must be deposited by 10\/31\/2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Meet the Admin Team:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Yvonne Liang (Academic Director), Jan-Huey Chen (Culture Director), Veronica Chen (Chairperson), and I (Cindy Chen) will be at the Admin Table.
