Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to all PCLS mothers!!\u00a0\u00a0A happy and healthy mother is\u00a0essential to the wellbeing of the kids and the entire family – especially at this\u00a0<\/span>unprecedented time.\u00a0 Remember to show your appreciation to your mother and your wife on Mother’s Day.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>PCLS 2020-2021 Registration – Early Bird Discount (5\/3 – 6\/1)<\/b><\/b> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Registration for 2020-2021 has begun (For details and all related attachment, please refer to\u00a0PCLS\u00a02020-2021 Registration email<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>sent on\u00a05\/3<\/b>).\u00a0 Take the advantage of Early Registration by 6\/1 ($40<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Discount, first choice of culture classes and parent duties, etc).\u00a0 The following culture classes are quite popular so please register early before they reach\u00a0the size limit:\u00a0<\/span>TaeKwonDo \u8dc6\u62f3\u9053,\u00a0Chinese Abacus and Mental Math \u5152\u7ae5\u73e0\u5fc3\u7b97, Chinese Knotting \u4e2d\u570b\u7d50, Chinese Yoyo \u626f\u9234.<\/div>\n

PCLS online Summer Camp will be ON<\/b><\/p>\n
Thank you for those 42 families participating in the survey and providing us valuable feedback.\u00a0 Among these participants, 60% replied YES and 27% replied UNCERTAIN for this online Summer Camp.\u00a0 As a result, we decided to run the online summer camp to serve PCLS families during summer.\u00a0 Details will be announced after our volunteer staff’s further planning.If you have any suggestions, you can still click the\u00a0Google Form<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>to complete the short survey by\u00a05\/10 midnight.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0It takes less than 3 minutes (one response per parent please).\u00a0 We will draw\u00a0TWO<\/b>\u00a0lucky winners on the 5\/30 parent meeting.\u00a0 Each winner will receive\u00a0$20 tuition off voucher and 3\u00a0<\/b>surgical masks<\/b>.\u00a0 YOU can be that winner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Parent Duty Refund checks (School year 2019-2020)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

For the parents who had signed up and fulfilled their duty but didn’t collect their refund check when we were still at PDS, you should have received an email indicating that we’ll mail your $150 checks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the other group of parents who received another email, we appreciate that you signed up for the parent duty and intended to help the school, and therefore we will still be issuing the refundable deposit ($150) based on the sign up prior to the last day at PDS.<\/p>\n

All the parent duty refund checks are mailing out this weekend.\u00a0 Please expect it next week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Teacher Appreciation Card\u00a0<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

I’ve received six more appreciation cards shared by parents (Please see attached files for their lovely artwork).\u00a0 As I announced earlier, all students participating in this event will receive two extra coupons for the next coupon day.\u00a0 They are: Otto Volpenhein, Sebastian Silva, Olivia Tsai, Kyle Chen (\u9673\u6fa4\u51f1), Railey Chen (\u9673\u6fa4\u52f5),\u00a0Hunter Chen (\u9673\u6fa4\u7ff0), Railey Chen (\u9673\u4f51\u9621), Mason Chen (\u9673\u5ef7\u4ea6).Thank you for the beautiful messages and cards from all children and parents\u00a0sharing their appreciation for our PCLS teachers and staff in recognition of their hard work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
