Dear Parents\/Guardians:<\/p>\n

Hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy in the midst of this unprecedented time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are excited to start PCLS’ 2020-2021\u00a0registration\u00a0on\u00a0Sunday, May 3rd<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0We encourage our current PCLS families to take advantage ($40 Tuition discount<\/strong>\u00a0and Culture class spots) of the Early\u00a0Registration (Ends on\u00a0June\u00a01st<\/strong>). In the meantime, feel free to forward this\u00a0Registration\u00a0email to your friends if they are interested in registering their child(ren) in PCLS.<\/p>\n

Here are the steps to walk you through the registration.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0<\/strong>Families should select their parent duty using this link:\u00a0https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/20f0a49ada823aafe3-20202021<\/a>.\u00a0After you select your parent duty, please\u00a0PRINT<\/strong>\u00a0the attached\u00a02020-2021<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Parent Duty Assignment.dox<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>page with the parent duty information filled.\u00a0 When you sign up the Signup Genius, please include the name as it would appear on your parent duty refund check.<\/p>\n

You are required to sign up for\u00a0one A<\/strong>\u00a0activity, or\u00a0two B<\/strong>\u00a0activities, or\u00a0one B and one C<\/strong>\u00a0activities.\u00a0 Please see details in the attached file or at the\u00a0SignupGenius<\/a>\u00a0link.<\/p>\n

* A<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0– Only one within this category (e.g. Class Parent, Chinese New Year helpers)<\/em><\/p>\n

* B<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0– One or Two within this category (e.g. Contest helpers\/judges, Coupon Day volunteers, etc.), and<\/em><\/p>\n

* C<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0– One within this category (e.g. Bell ringer, Fire Drill helpers, etc.)<\/em><\/p>\n

NOTE<\/strong>:\u00a0We encourage parents to sign up for the SAME duties as in the previous years, particularly for the more critical roles (i.e. CNY helpers, contest helpers\/judges, coupon day volunteers, etc). We would like to have parents with experiences to help ensure certain events\/contests to run smoothly.<\/p>\n

(2)<\/strong>\u00a0Please click this link:\u00a0https:\/\/www.regstudent.com<\/a>\u00a0to register.\u00a0 We attached several screenshots and files to assist you with the\u00a0registration. The 2020-2021 calendar is also attached (the prospective start date is 09\/13\/2020<\/em>\u00a0and end date is\u00a006\/06\/2021)<\/em>.\u00a0 Due to the uncertainty in fall, certain event dates\/time are subject to change.\u00a0 PCLS will keep our families updated if any.<\/p>\n

Since we cannot meet you in person for this registration, you need to mail the following THREE items to:\u00a0Princeton Chinese Language School P.O. Box 185, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>by June 1st<\/sup>\u00a0to take the advantages of EARLY registration (secure culture class spot and tuition discount).<\/p>\n

(A) After you complete the process using the link above, please\u00a0PRINT<\/strong>\u00a0the last\u00a0confirmation page<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 (B) After you sign up on the SignUp Genius, fill out the attached\u00a02020-21<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Parent Duty Assignment.dox<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>(C) Please make your\u00a0CHECK<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0payable to PCLS. Your Family ID number and student names should also be included on the face of the check.<\/p>\n

Please note that we cannot process payments\u00a0without<\/strong>\u00a0the printed documents, Family ID number and student names on the check.<\/p>\n

Tuition fees and their descriptions:<\/u><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. $480<\/em><\/strong>($460<\/em>\u00a0tuition +\u00a0$20<\/em>\u00a0teacher\/TA gift fee) for the EARLY\u00a0registration\u00a0which is PAID\u00a0BY<\/u>\u00a0June 1st.<\/strong>\u00a0Please mail your check in by June 1st to be eligible for\u00a0the early bird discount.\u00a0PCLS will\u00a0NOT\u00a0<\/strong>deposit your check until\u00a09\/6.<\/em><\/u><\/li>\n
  2. $520<\/em><\/strong>($500<\/em>\u00a0tuition +\u00a0$20<\/em>\u00a0teacher\/TA gift fee)\u00a0for the regular\u00a0registration\u00a0which is paid after June 1st.\u00a0 If you register and pay after June 2nd, the tuition will be changed to $500 in our system.iii.<\/strong>\u00a0$20<\/em>\u00a0will be included in each student’s tuition\u00a0just\u00a0to cover<\/u>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>the teacher\/TA gift fee that is usually collected by the Class Parents in September. This makes the Class Parent’s job easier since we do not have to follow up on the outstanding $20 fee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. A\u00a0REFUNDABLE – <\/strong>parent duty fee of\u00a0$150<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(DEPOSIT) will be imposed as the school needs more families to help run PCLS events.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Similar to the previous years, families who complete and pay their\u00a0registration\u00a0first will have their first choice of culture classes. Here is some additional information that you should be aware of:<\/p>\n
