Hope you’ve\u00a0enjoyed the warm summerlike days in a protective way.<\/p>\n

There are two weeks left before the last day of school.\u00a0 Some reminders for the following weeks:
\n<\/span>** 5\/17 –\u00a0 Language online class optional (depends on your Language class).\u00a0 Culture online class is on.<\/p>\n

** 5\/24 – No School – memorial Day<\/p>\n
**\u00a05\/30 (Saturday) 4pm-5pm<\/b>: Online year-end Zoom meeting with parents \u5bb6\u9577\u5927\u6703.\u00a0 In addition to the regular overview and school planning, PCLS Summer Camp will also be outlined at the meeting.\u00a0 We will draw\u00a0TWO<\/b>\u00a0lucky winners from the Camp Survey participants.\u00a0 Each winner will receive\u00a0$20 tuition off voucher and 3\u00a0<\/b>surgical masks.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
** 5\/31 – Last day of 2019-2020 school year.\u00a0\u00a0PCLS\u00a0Virtual Commencement 2:30-3:10.\u00a0 Language class 3:20-4:00.\u00a0 Culture class 4:30-5:10.\u00a0 Original Coupon Day is cancelled but we’re reviewing the doable approach to carry over coupons to the next school year.\u00a0 Details will be announced later.
\n** 6\/1-6\/12: Online summer camp registration (tentatively)<\/div>\n
** 6\/22: Online summer camp tentative start week (10 classes for each session, frequency varies.\u00a0 5-8 students in each class).\u00a0 More details will be announced later.<\/div>\n

PCLS 2020-2021 Registration – Early Bird Discount (5\/3 – 6\/1)<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/div>\n

Registration for 2020-2021 has begun (For details and all related attachment, please refer to\u00a0PCLS\u00a02020-2021 Registration email<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>sent on\u00a05\/3<\/b><\/u>).\u00a0 Take the advantage of Early Registration by 6\/1 ($40<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Discount, first choice of culture classes and parent duties, etc).\u00a0 The following culture classes are quite popular so please register early before they reach\u00a0the size limit:\u00a0<\/span>TaeKwonDo \u8dc6\u62f3\u9053,\u00a0Chinese Abacus and Mental Math \u5152\u7ae5\u73e0\u5fc3\u7b97, Chinese Knotting \u4e2d\u570b\u7d50, Chinese Yoyo \u626f\u9234.<\/div>\n

\nTA application for next school year<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

If your child is interested in becoming a TA for the 2020-21 school year, he\/she needs to complete an application via\u00a0Google Form<\/a>\u00a0first.\u00a0 The TA applicant has to be 14 years of age by September 30, 2020.\u00a0 We also strongly encourage the current 10th graders to apply for language TA.\u00a0 If you know any high school student outside PCLS who has Chinese language background, please forward him\/her the application form.\u00a0 \u00a0PCLS will provide a certificate of community service hours to all volunteers upon completion of the school year.<\/p>\n

Teacher Appreciation Card\u00a0<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n
\nI’ve received five more teacher appreciation cards by our students (Please see attachment for their lovely artwork):\u00a0Toviah Wong,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Janoah Wong,\u00a0<\/b>Logan Kim,\u00a0Everest Kim, and Ashley Kim<\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0Thank you for the beautiful messages and cards from all children and parents\u00a0sharing their appreciation for our PCLS teachers and staff in recognition of their hard work.\u00a0 This event has ended and all 13 students participating in this event will receive two extra coupons for the next coupon day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
