Registration 註冊 for PCLS 2026/27 is OPEN.

PCLS is a nonprofit school operated by parent volunteers.  As such, parent participation and involvement is essential to the success of school operation and events.

Early Bird Discount – Save $50. Register and pay in full by June 14, 2026.

In person – at PDS (650 Great Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540). Available on these Sundays between 2:45 – 4:30 PM: May 10, May 31, June 7 and June 14, 2026

By mail – Mail all required paperwork and a check. The envelope must be postmarked by June 14, 2026. 

 

How to Register:

Step 1: Parent Duty Sign-Up

Sign up for parent duty and sign up for One Type A duty, One Type B duty, and One of the parent meetings

 

Step 2: Student Registration 

Register your student(s) in the PCLS Registration System. Once complete, print (for mail-in) or screenshot (for in-person) your confirmation page. (see Example) 

 

Step 3: Submit Your Registration

Choose one of the following:

 

In Person – PDS, Sundays May 10, May 31, June 6 and June 14, 2026 between 2:45 – 4:30 PM

 

By mail – Mail the following to “Princeton Chinese Language School, P.O. Box 185, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550”:

  • Check payable to PCLS (with your family ID)
  • Confirmation page from Step 2 
  • Parent Duty Assignment from Step 1 

 

Additional details for each step below:

Step 1: Parent Duty Sign-Up 

  • Please read the Parent Duty Guideline.
  • In order to receive the refund of your parent duty deposit, you need to sign up for One Type A duty, One Type B duty, and one of the parent meetings. 
    • The 2026-2027 parent meetings are scheduled on Oct 18, 2026 (First Semester Welcome Meeting) and May 9, 2027 (Year-End Report Meeting). 
    • We strongly encourage you to attend both parent meetings, but if you can only attend one, please try to make it to the First Semester Welcome Meeting, since this meeting contains essential information for this school year. 
    • If you are not able to attend a parent meeting, you may substitute one additional duty. However, we strongly encourage you to attend parent meetings to be well informed about the operation of the school. 
  • In the event that you can’t make it to the Type A or Type B duty you signed up for, please consult the guidance listed in the Parent Duty Guideline. 
  • For returning families, please try to sign up for the same parent duties as in the previous years, particularly for the more critical roles (i.e. Lunar New Year helpers, contest helpers/judges, coupon day helpers, etc.). 

Step 2:  Student Registration

Register your student(s) in the PCLS Registration System. Once complete, print (for mail-in) or screenshot (for in-person) your confirmation page. (see Example)

      1. 2026-2027 calendar with the prospective start date and end date, 9/7/2025 and 6/7/2026, respectively.
        Please note these dates are subject to change. We encourage you to use the calendar on  our website as a reference when the new academic year begins
      2. Tuition and fee:
      • Tuition fee structure (include $30 Teacher/TA gift fee) 
        • Early bird: $680 (by June 14, 2026)
        • Regular: $730 (after June 14, 2026)
      • A REFUNDABLE $300 parent duty deposit is required to help support the running of PCLS events (refunded upon completing parent duty requirements). 
      • Culture class & fees: Culture class spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The following classes carry an additional fee:

      Arts & Crafts $25/year Teacher
      STEM Craft $25/year Teacher
      Taekwondo $100/year Registration system
      • Class fees due by Sept 27, 2026 (Week 3) to guarantee your spot.

      Step 3: Submit Your Registration

      Please prepare the following three items: 

      1. Payment – can be made by:
        1. Check (payable to PCLS, with your Family ID and student name(s) written on the face), or
        2. Zelle (epay@pcls.org). Please include the student name and family ID in the notes. Once payment is complete, take a screenshot of the confirmation screen showing your confirmation number. You’ll need to show this to the registration team in person, or include a printout if registering by mail. 
      2. Confirmation Page – print or screenshot the final confirmation page from Step 2
      3. Parent Duty Assignment – print or screenshot your SignUpGenius from Step 1. 

      Then submit in person or by mail: 

      In person – PDS, between 2:45 – 4:30 PM on: May 10, May 31, June 6 and June 14, 2026 

      By mail – Princeton Chinese Language School P.O. Box 185, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550

       

      Reminder: Registration cannot be processed without all three items: payment, confirmation page and parent duty assignment.
