Word Recognition Contest 認字比賽
Word recognition contest is this Sunday (4/3) at 1pm. All contestants should have received an email from the Academic Director with a specific time to check in. Contests will take place in either Room 15 (CSL3 classroom) near the multipurpose room (YoYo room) or Library towards the back of the building.
Beth Chaim is hosting a blood drive on the same day till 1pm. We ask all PCLS families to stay at the back of the building until the blood drive event is over.

Fun Day 2022 – Taiwan Night Market 台灣夜市 – Flyer here
Fun Day will return this year on 5/22/2022 at Rosedale Park. To assist us with planning, please kindly take a moment to complete this Google Form. There will be food, Taiwanese night market games, karaoke and field games. Mark your calendar, come out and have fun with other PCLS families! You don’t want to miss this!!
We are also looking for additional volunteers to help with set up, food distribution, TW night market games and clean up. If you can spare 1 hour sometime between 12-4 to help out, please email culture@pcls.org
General Guideline:

This event is limited to PCLS students/parents/grandparents, teachers and TAs. Extended families are excluded.

Each student, teacher, TA and admin will receive a set number of tickets, which can be used to exchange for food or Taiwanese night market games.

Extra tickets may be purchased on that day of the event.

A Sign up Genius Form will be released in mid-April for attendees to sign up for food/drink to bring. You will get extra tickets for bringing food to share. The number of tickets received will vary depending on the item type.

PCLS YoYo Contest – Registration now open!
The Google form to register for the 2022 PCLS Chinese YoYo contest is now open! The contest will take place on Sunday 5/1/2022 during culture class time. Students will perform a 3-3.5 minutes routine he/she put together to the music of their choice. Registration will close on Tuesday 4/26/2022. Please be prepared to submit an audio file for the music the contestant wants to use with your registration.
In order for the contest to start on time, the order to appear in each group will be determined by “Wheel of Names” beforehand. The contest will begin with the beginners’ group.
Last chance to sign up for Culture Class Open House
The culture class open house will take place on 4/24/2022. This is a great opportunity for students to try a different culture class and the experience might help them in deciding what they would like to take during the 2022-2023 school year. Please sign up using this Google form by 04/09/2022.
