MESSAGES FROM PRINCIPAL

Mask Mandate Lifted

Starting this Sunday, masks are no longer required in PDS!  You may wear a mask if you wish.  Please continue to practice good hygiene and consider wearing a mask if you have any cold symptons.

Doors to Playground 

PDS requires us to use only the main entrance to enter the building. Doors that open to outside (playground, upper/lower gym exits) should remain CLOSED at all times. Students who wish to use the playground during recess should come back through the main entrance – please give yourself sufficient time to return to class. DO NOT prop the door open.

SY23-24 Registration 

SY23-24 registration will open next week!  More details will be announced in next week’s newsletter.

Recognition Day

Mark your calendars for Recognition Day on 5/14 at 1:30 at the McAneny Theater at PDS.  Trophies and award certificates will be presented to all the winners in the contests we’ve held to-date.

Fun Day 2023 – Boba Festival!

Fun Day will be held on 5/21/2023 at Mercer County Park – East Picnic Area. To assist us with planning, please kindly take a moment to complete this Google Form. There will be bubble tea, food, night market games, field games and much more.  Mark your calendar, come out and have fun with other PCLS families! You don’t want to miss this!!

We are also looking for additional volunteers to help with set up, food distribution, TW night market games and clean up.  If you can spare 1 hour sometime between 12-5 to help out, please email culture@pcls.org

PCLS YoYo Contest 

The contest will take place on Sunday 4/30/2023 during culture class time in the little gym (where TKD class usually takes place).  Parents and students are welcome to come no later than 4:20 & watch the performances.

Please note that TKD class will take place in the Upper gym this week.
