Here are some important updates to our school calendar as we plan to close out the year. Eight more weeks to go!
- 4/18: Culture Class open house 4:20-5pm (this coming Sunday)
- 4/25: Deadline for YoYo video submission
- 5/2: Fall registration begins. Details will be announced soon.
- 5/9: End of year parent meeting. Chess contest canceled.
- 5/16: Final exam. Last day of culture classes.
- 5/23: School closed – Fun Day canceled.
- 5/30: School closed – Memorial Day weekend.
- 6/6: Virtual Commencement. Coupon Day canceled.
- 6/19-20: Pick up coupon exchange gifts, award certificates and trophies for students. Registration and pick-up details to be announced in May.
PCLS will not host in-person Fun Day and Coupon Gift exchanges this year. The decision was a unanimous one as we are still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although more than 28% of the population in New Jersey are fully vaccinated, it’s still insufficient to build a herd immunity and not safe for us to gather together.
The good news is – all students will receive their coupon exchange gifts around the third weekend of June. PCLS admin team is working very hard to gather all the prizes, print the award certificates, and order trophies for our students. Our kids have worked so hard this year during this difficult time. They deserve a big bag of gifts from us for their hard work! So, parents, be prepared to select a pick-up location (e.g., North/East/South Brunswick, Plainsboro/Princeton, West Windsor, and Montgomery/Skillman/ Hillsborough, PA). Stay tuned!
