Messages from the Academic Director, Molly Yang
We are changing the way we host the Speech Contest this year as the fully remote learning environment does not allow the face to face competitions. To make the speech contest fun, engaging, and less threatening/intimidating for students, we are making this an open invitation. All students with the assistance of their parents or others are invited to submit a one to three minutes video recording of a speech.
PCLS plans to give out awards in the following categories and will make modifications based on the video submissions as needed: Best presentation, Best pronunciation, Best costume, Best props, Best content, Most fun, Most innovative, Best interaction, Most persuasive, and Best emotional integration/engagement. All videos need to be submitted by December 1 via the Google Link here.
Please refer to the attachment for more information on the 2020 Virtual Speech Open Invitation.
