First Semester Welcome Meeting with Parents
Come and meet the PCLS admin team this Sunday, 11/10 at 2:50 pm in the cafeteria. We’ll give an overview of the school operation and the events we have planned for this school year. If you are new to the school, there’ll be a lot of useful information and you’ll have a chance to ask questions.
We will play a game of bingo in the meeting to get to know each other. All participants will receive PCLS goodies and winner of the bingo can choose from one of these prizes: Ding Tai Fung mug 鼎泰豐Q版小籠包馬克杯 or Sky lantern necklace 天燈項鍊
Raffle for I-compatriot card applicants i-僑卡抽獎
After the First Semester Welcome Meeting, we will draw 9 winners from the October applicants. The winners can select his/her prize on the spot, if they are presented at the event; If not, they will be notified by email, and the admin team will randomly select a prize for them. Additionally, one grand prize winner will be drawn from all 215 applicants.

PCLS 校內演講比賽 Speech Contest [Registration close this Sunday!!]
The speech contest is a great opportunity for our students to practice public speaking in Chinese. We will hold our 2024-2025 speech contest next month. Please find more information below.
Contest date and time: Nov 17, 2024 and Nov 24, 2024 1:30-2:25 pm
Contest location: PDS Upper Gym
Registration deadline: Nov 10, 2024 11:59 pm. More information is in the attached brochure.

2024 全美AP中文複習考試 (National Preparation Test for AP Chinese)
Eligibility: 6th to 12th grade students
Registration period: 2024-12-02 to 2025-01-21
Registration fee: $15
Test date and time: 2025-03-01 or 2025-03-02
Registration has to go through PCLS. If your child(ren) is interested, please send the English full name of your child and the email your child plans to use for receiving test information to academic@pcls.org by Jan 15, 2025 and a $15 check payable to PCLS to me by Jan 19, 2025.
