PCLS Newsletter 10/21 – Welcome Parents Meeting & Drawing Contest

Dear Parents/Guardians/Teachers:

IMPORTANT:  Please come to the cafeteria 3:20 – 4:20 for the Welcome Parents Meeting and meet the staff who help run PCLS.  We will go over school initiatives, finances, and much more!  PCLS will provide light refreshments for the parents at the meeting.  Please come join us!

Messages from the Culture Director, Ya-ping Su:

Drawing Contest will take place this Sunday and the next Sunday from 1pm to 2:25 pm. The theme this year is “Year of the Pig”.  Please arrive at 1pm to check-in.  Registered contestants should have received a confirmation email from culture director. If a contestant is done with drawing on 10/21, he/she doesn’t need to come on 10/28.  Any questions please email culture@pcls.org.   

Messages from the Academic Director, Molly Yang:

The speech contests are 12/2 (CSL6-8, T3-9) and 12/9 (CSL1-5, Pre-K-T2) at 1 PM.  Please see your teacher to register your child for the speech contest by 11/18. Details will follow shortly.

* 2:00 Stella’s bubble tea AND Taro cake (芋頭糕), sweet soup (紅豆湯/銀耳湯), Mochi (麻糬) and Eggtart
* 3:00-4:30 NuRo Beef Noodle Soup （正中牛肉麵）: Please pick up your order at the designated time.
