PCLS Newsletter 2/10

Dear Parents/Guardians/Teachers/TAs:

Gong Xi Fa Cai 恭喜發財!

Thank you again to everyone who was part of the Chinese New Year Celebration last Sunday!

I’m very proud to see that our teachers, TAs, and students were so engaged to make our CNY performance successful.  Parents also play critical roles from preparation to the performance – thank you for your support.  This is an awesome team work for the whole PCLS community.  Congratulations, everyone.

In addition to the CNY crews listed on the program, I would like to thank the following people helping on those ad hoc programs and make these new formats so inspirational.

TA Dance – 4 TAs (Melanie Tsai, James Kin, Melinda Chen, Aaron Tsai) and 2 Culture Teachers (Christina Emery and Charles Emery – you didn’t see their faces but it’s them).

Videos – Jimmy Chen (Principal’s and teacher’s videos) & Melanie Tsai (Summer Camp video)

If you are interested in our teaching or administration roles, don’t hesitate to contact us anytime.  PCLS really need more parents involved in school’s operation.  We will have a workshop soon and more detailed information will be provided then.
