PCLS Announcement: Yo-Yo Contest Winners and upcoming ANJCS competitions

Dear Parents/Guardians/Teachers:   

Announcing Yo-Yo Contest Winners

Our first ever Yo-Yo contest took place last Sunday.  Creativity, hard work and dedication were apparent among the performances. Congrats to all contestants and you all did great job to perform on the stage.

Practice makes perfect.  PCLS will continue to hold this annual Yoyo contest (and maybe Chess tournament too).  We hope this will encourage MORE students to learn, practice, and take the courage to step up and perform.

Upcoming ANJCS competitions in April
Additionally, there will be two ANJCS competitions coming up: Calligraphy (書法比賽) on April 7 at Tenafly hosted by Bergen Chinese School and Multimedia (多媒體簡報比賽) on April 14 at Raritan Valley community College. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren), please provide the student information specified in the appropriate application form (see attachments) and email the form to culture@pcls.org by Wednesday March 20.

PCLS will compile the information, register students and pay the application fee.  The contestants will represent for PCLS so please prepare and show up at the competition. To encourage students, all participants will receive TWO coupons for coupon day gift exchange. Winners will receive two additional coupons (i.e. FOUR coupons) if wins a top three. If there’s monetary rewards given to the winners by ANJCS (or other entity), PCLS will also match the amount for our PCLS winners. The winners will be announced in Newsletter, Website, and Facebook.
