PCLS newsletter 4/19 – Culture classes online learning starts

Dear Parents/Guardians/Teachers/TAs:

I hope you and your families are all in good health and spirit.

To be on the safe side, PCLS will keep remote learning until the end of this school year, 5/31.  As more time passes, it is important for us to acknowledge that we are missing our social interaction with our friends.  This is normal and to be expected.  However, we must all continue practicing distancing and good hygiene in order to remain healthy and keep others safe and healthy.

Messages from the Culture Director, Ya-ping Su:
A BIG thank you to our culture teachers!
Culture classes are starting this weekend except Basketball, Homework club and Mahjong that are difficult to host online.  Parents, please pay attention to your email box for meeting invites from culture teachers.

What We Can Help:

URGENTLY SEEKING MORE FABRIC (click this link Sew Many Masks Princeton and see attached files for more details.)
We can join the volunteer team to sew the masks or donate the fabric and ribbon.  Declutter your sewing room and linen cupboard by donating 100% cotton fabric or bed sheets to the Arts Council of Princeton’s Sew Many Masks project.  Donations can be dropped in the tubs at the Princeton YMCA (59 Paul Robeson Pl). The Y has generously volunteered to wash and dry the fabric.
In the midst of this unprecedented time, please keep in mind that we are a community that looks out for and supports each other.  I wish everyone in the PCLS community stay healthy and stay positive!

All the best,
