PCLS will host its first Welcome Parent meeting at 1:30 pm-2:30 pm, next Sunday, October 25 virtually via Zoom. Please “zoom” in to learn more about the school. Zoom invite will be sent separately next Friday.

2020 ANJCS Poem Recitation Contest (校際線上個人詩歌朗誦比賽) will be: 9:30 AM 11/15/20 (Sunday). See the attachment for details.

We strongly encourage our students to participate in this contest to experience the Beauty of Chinese poems. There’s a limit of two students per age group. Two students already registered for the youngest age group (under 9). But we can still register students for age group 9-13 and 14-18. If you are interested, please email principal@pcls.org.  PCLS will pay the application fee for students participating in this contest.

Virtual Drawing Contest – Deadline to register and submit for the 2020-2021 “Year of Ox”  virtual drawing contest is extended until Tuesday 10/20.  All participants will receive 1 coupon for participation and the top 3 winners will receive another 1. To register & submit, please click on this link to the Google Form.

Chinese New Year Celebration – 線(獻)上你的牛才藝!  We cordially invite everyone to present your ‘Ox’* talent by sending photos or pre-recorded videos of PCLS classes and students in action. The T10 class and teachers will be leading the effort to put the celebration together.  The audience will have an opportunity to vote on various “Best” categories.  

To submit your ideas, please complete this Google Form by Sunday 11/22/2020.  You have until 1/5/2021 to record, edit, and submit your Ox talent video. 

Food Vendors this week

Remember to pick up the food you ordered this Saturday from Lin’s Palace () at new pick up time, 2pm. Pick location is the Asian Food Market parking lot near PNC bank. Bao and Dumpling (渤海村will be there at 2:30pm with no pre-order. Just come and purchase what you need. Please follow social distancing guidelines and always wear a mask when picking up food.
