Although recent COVID-19 mandates and protocols have gradually been eased in NJ, we continue to follow our current protocol to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and keep everyone healthy and safe. We will re-evaluate our protocol in mid-March.

Chinese Typing Contest
For the students who registered for the Chinese Typing Contest, the contest will start at 12 pm tomorrow, 2/26 and end at 12 pm on Sunday, 2/27. Please watch out for my email with links to the contest site.
National Preparation Test for AP Chinese Language and Culture 全美AP中文複習考試
For T6-T10, CSL4 or CSL5 students, if you plan to take the college board AP Chinese test, the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools will host two preparation tests on 3/26 and 3/27. Please see the attached flier for more information. If you want to register for the preparation test, please contact me by 3/10/2022 (Thur).

Culture Class Open House
The culture class open house will take place on 4/24/2022. This is a great opportunity for students to try a different culture class and the experience might help them in deciding what they would like to take during the 2022-2023 school year. Google form for registration will be released in March.
PCLS YoYo Contest – Date Change
To give the students more time to practice, the YoYo contest will be moved to Sunday 5/1/2022. Students will perform a 2-3 minutes routine he/she put together to music of your choice. Contestants will be judged by age group on (1) Trick difficulty – 40 pts (2) Artistry / creativity – 20 pts (3) Fluency – 20 pts (4) Performance format – 20 pts
Google form for registration will be released in April. Please be prepared to submit an audio file of the music you would like to use.
