Celebrate the Year of the Horse with us! 🐎
Please join us this Sunday from 2:30 – 4:45 PM for our Lunar New Year celebration. We can’t wait to share this festive afternoon of performances and community with you!
⏰ Friendly Reminder: Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday. Remember to “spring forward” your clocks so you don’t miss a moment of the celebration!
🚗 Parking & Arrival

Carpooling: Please arrive in one car per family or carpool if possible to save space.

Overflow Parking: If the main lot is full, please refer to the map for our two additional parking lots.

VIP Spots: The 4 spots marked with orange cones at the main entrance are reserved for VIP guests. Please leave these clear.

Entry: Everyone should enter through the main entrance.
🥟 Food & Drinks

Cafeteria Only: Food is allowed ONLY in the cafeteria. Please help us keep our school beautiful by cleaning up your area.

🎭 Gym Entry & Seating

Gym Doors: The Upper Gym will open at 2:30 PM. To keep hallways clear, please avoid congregating in front of the gym doors.

Student Entry: Students should enter with their classes, not with parents.

Belongings: Seating is limited. Please leave jackets and non-valuables in the classrooms. Keep your valuables with you.

Folding Chairs: Reserved strictly for students.

Bleachers: For all parents. Front Row Bleachers: Specifically reserved for grandparents and parents with small children (non-students).

Lunar New Year Raffle Ticket Sale Starts!!
Lunar New Year raffle ticket sales will continue on 3/8. Below is the price chart. Please note the sale is CASH and CHECK ONLY.
Remember:
1. Write your name on the back of the tickets
2. You must put your tickets in the brown bags before 2:30 PM.
Yearbook Distribution
2025-2026 Yearbooks were distributed last Sunday. Each family gets one copy. Please email principal@pcls.org, if your family didn’t get one.

象棋比賽 Chinese Chess Contest
Date & Time: 3/15/2026 and 3/22/2026, 4:20-5:00pm
The competition time overlaps with the PCLS culture class hour. All contestants must attend the competition on March 15th. Any matches unable to finish on March 15th will continue on March 22nd. Register here by 3/13. All are welcome!
歌唱比賽 2026 Singing Competition: 本校定於3月22日下午 1:30 – 2:25PM，舉行歌唱比賽，歡迎學生踴躍報名參加。比賽將按年齡及報名的人數分組比賽，請於3月15日前 完成報名。

PTA Update
Due to the postponement of the LNY event, many duties have been affected. Please check the updated list for the changes.
Deposit refund requirement: Please note that only after the parent duties are fulfilled will the deposit be refunded. To check your 2025-2026 parent duty sign ups, please click this link. Detailed parent duty instructions and information can be found in the PCLS Parent Duty Guidelines. Please make sure to sign in at the event/duty to log the completion of your duty. If any events/parent duty signups are canceled/moved, it is the family’s responsibility to fulfill another parent duty in order to receive the deposit.
