Important Calendar Update: Schedule Change
Dear PCLS Families,
We are writing to share an important update regarding our spring schedule. Due to an unexpected oversight regarding campus availability during PDS Spring Break, we have just been informed that the school facilities will be unavailable for our use on Sunday, April 5th.
To ensure our students still receive their full 16 weeks of instruction, we have decided to reschedule this session to the end of the term.
The Change at a Glance:

Original Class Date: April 5, 2026 (NO SCHOOL)

New Rescheduled Date: June 14, 2026 (Week 9 Lesson)
What does this mean for you?

Spring Break Extension: You now have an extra free Sunday on April 5th! We hope this allows your families some extra time to relax and enjoy the holiday.

Year-End Adjustment: Our final day of the semester will now be June 14th. Please mark your calendars so your students can join us for this final Week 9 makeup lesson.

Updated Calendar: Our official school calendar has been updated to reflect this change.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this late notice may cause. Managing logistics with our host campus can sometimes bring surprises, and we truly appreciate your flexibility and continued support of our community.

象棋比賽 Chinese Chess Contest
Date & Time: 3/15/2026 and 3/22/2026, 4:20-5:00pm
The competition time overlaps with the PCLS culture class hour. All contestants must attend the competition on March 15th. Any matches unable to finish on March 15th will continue on March 22nd.
歌唱比賽 2026 Singing Competition: 本校定於3月22日下午 1:30 – 2:25PM，舉行歌唱比賽，歡迎學生踴躍報名參加。比賽將按年齡及報名的人數分組比賽，請於3月15日前 完成報名。

PTA Update
Due to the postponement of the LNY event, many duties have been affected. Please check the updated list for the changes.
Deposit refund requirement: Please note that only after the parent duties are fulfilled will the deposit be refunded. To check your 2025-2026 parent duty sign ups, please click this link. Detailed parent duty instructions and information can be found in the PCLS Parent Duty Guidelines. Please make sure to sign in at the event/duty to log the completion of your duty. If any events/parent duty signups are canceled/moved, it is the family’s responsibility to fulfill another parent duty in order to receive the deposit.

戀念臺灣－海外僑民兒童或少年至校短期體驗計畫
活動報名時間預計為2026年3月23 日至4月14日，參與對象為隨家人短期返國之6至15歲之海外僑民兒童或少年（下稱體驗者），其父或母任一人具中華民國國籍，請至僑委會「僑務活動報名系統」之報名頁面（https://register.ocac.gov.tw/cht/index.php?/sign/nostalgiafortaiwan2026），點選「登入」，以體驗者之名義註冊帳號並登入後填具申請表，向僑委會提出申請。
