Student Code of Conduct
In light of recent events, PCLS will be revisiting our student code of conduct and further enhancing them to cover issues that are prevalent to the current social environment.
As a mandatory requirement to complete the registration process, all parents acknowledged consent to abide by the PCLS guidelines. PCLS parents and students’ guidelines can be found on our website. Please note that it’s the parents’ responsibility to let your child(ren) know what the behavior expectations are in school. It is important that students understand NO acts or language of violence (jokingly or not) is permitted in school regardless of a child’s age. Thank you for your support for making PCLS a safe learning environment!

打字比賽 Chinese Typing Contest
The virtual Chinese typing contest will take place on February 25, 2023. Result needs to be submitted no later than 12:15 PM on February 26, 2023. More details can be found in the Typing Contest Brochure. If you have any questions, please contact me (academic@pcls.org).
All contestants should have received a confirmation email from me. If you registered but did not receive my email, please contact me ASAP.

2022-2023 ANJCS YoYo Contest 紐澤西中文學校協會 校際扯鈴比賽
The ANJCS YoYo contest will take place at Marlboro Middle School (355 County Rd 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746) on April 1, 2023 (Saturday) 9:30am – 12:00pm.

Myopia Prevention Seminar
Come and join Drs. Despotidis, Lee and Tannen on 3/5/2023 at 3:00PM in the cafeteria and learn about myopia prevention and treatments!
Myopia or nearsightedness is an increasingly prevalent condition that not only affects visual function, but can increase the risk of eye diseases as one gets older. Many interventions have been shown to reduce the progression of myopia, preserving vision and reducing the risk of vision loss over time.
These vision problems can have a major impact on a child’s reading and learning ability. The eye doctors will discuss science based treatments and prevention for vision problems that often steam from excessive screen time.
