Treating Others with Respect
Parents, please remind your child(ren) again that it is important to treat fellow classmates and teachers with respect. If your action or language is causing disruption to class or discomfort to others (such as name-calling, unwanted physical contact, making fun of others), it is NOT OK and could be in potential violation of the rules outlined in the PCLS Student Code of Conduct.
親愛的家長們， 請提醒孩子們尊重他人的重要性，不只是老師，也包括其他同學。 如果孩子們自以為好玩的的行為或是言詞， 打亂了上課的秩序、 或者造成其他人的不適 (例如動手推擠、 取綽號、用言語刺傷、嘲笑同儕等等)， 都是可能觸犯校規的行為。請鼓勵孩子們尊重他人，以同理心和責任感，共同培養一個和諧友善的校園環境。

Drawing Contest Registration – Registration Closes on 10/20
Get your crayons and markers ready for our first contest this year! The drawing contest will take place IN PERSON on 10/22/2023 and 10/29/2023 between 1:30 – 2:25 PM at the PDS cafeteria. Students will have 2 Sundays to complete their drawing. The drawings need to be handed in at the end of the event on 10/22 and we will distribute again on 10/29 for the students to finish.
All participants will earn ONE coupon. Top 3 place winners will earn an extra coupon, a trophy, and have their artwork featured in the PCLS directory!
To register, please read the guidelines thoroughly and complete the registration form here. Pre-registration is required to participate. We will NOT be able to accept registration on the spot. The registration form will be closed on 10/20/2023.

PTA Update
Welcome back PCLS family!
To ensure that all events and activities run smoothly throughout the year, please sign up for at least 2 parent duties. Only if the 2 duties are fulfilled, will the deposit be refunded. If you are able to spare more time to our community, we would be very thankful. There are still a few open slots left to sign up!
Any questions about your parent duties you can’t find on Sign Up Genius , please reach out to Suet Horhota, PCLS PTA Lead, while at school or at PTA@pcls.org.
Halloween Event 10/29/23
Please have your students come to school dressed in their costume for a chance to win the Best Costume contest. There is 1 prize, a kitty Lego set! As there are treats handed out, please feel free to come to the cafeteria to cheer on the characters and check for any allergens.
