Yearbook Distribution
The 2023-2024 yearbook will be distributed to each class this week. Each family will receive ONE copy. If there are more than one child in the family, the yearbook will be given to the child with the student ID number ending in 01. Please email principal@pcls.org if your family does not receive one.

華語文能力測驗 Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL)
PCLS will host a TOCFL testing on April 4, 2024. This is a great way to learn about your child(ren)’s Chinese proficiency and to level set and gauge your progress. Please stay tuned for announcements on an info session for parents to understand the benefits and importance of TOCFL!
2024 全美AP中文複習考試 (National Preparation Test for AP Chinese)
Eligibility: 6th to 12th grade students
Registration period: 2024-01-05 to 2024-02-03
Registration fee: $10
Test date and time: 2024-03-02 or 2024-03-03
Registration has to go through PCLS. If your child(ren) is interested, please send the English full name of your child and the email your child plans to use for receiving test information to academic@pcls.org by Jan 31, 2024 and a $10 check payable to PCLS to me by Jan 27, 2024.

Chinese children’s book fair 中文童書交換義賣
1/28 this Sunday is the last day of collecting books. No collection on exchange day 3/3.
Collection will take place this Sunday 1/21 and 1/28. 家裡有千里迢迢從台灣搬回來 , 但孩子已經不再看的中文童書嗎? 放在書架上占位子, 但是要丟掉卻也捨不得? 歡迎帶來造福其他學校的家長和孩子! Please see this file for details on how this event works!

Welcome back PCLS family!
To ensure that all events and activities run smoothly throughout the year, please sign up for at least 2 parent duties. Only if the 2 duties are fulfilled, will the deposit be refunded. If you are able to spare more time to our community, we would be very thankful. There are still a few open slots left to sign up!
Any questions about your parent duties you can’t find on Sign Up Genius , please reach out to Suet Horhota, PCLS PTA Lead, while at school or at PTA@pcls.org.
