The first PCLS singing contest last week was a big success! Thanks to all participating students and families for practicing and sharing your beautiful voice with us! To continue the fun, join our karaoke culture class teacher, Mr. Greg Tong, this Sunday 3/17 during culture class time at Room 225 and learn to sing “朋友 Friends” by 周華健. Parents and students are both welcome! Students, please notify your culture teacher if you are going to join this class.
For students who want to register for TOCFL 華測, please do so by Sunday 3/17!

華語文能力測驗 (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) & 兒童華語文能力測驗(Children’s Chinese Competency Certification) Registration Open
PCLS will host testing for TOCFL and CCCC on 4/14/2024 and registration is now open! It is a great way to gauge your child’s Chinese learning progress. The registration fee (paid by participant) and start time for each level is different for each level. Please refer to this Google form for more detail and to register.
Storytelling Contest 看圖說故事比賽
PCLS will host the “Chinese Story Telling Contest” on April 7th, 2024. We cordially invite all students to participate. Speaking is one of the key components in Chinese language learning. In addition to daily conversations and reciting textbook contents, “story-telling” is a fun way to practice speaking and communicating in Chinese.
Contest Date and Time: April 7, 2024 1:25-2:25 pm
Contest Location: PDS upper gym
Registration Period: Please use the Google Form to register between March 8, 2024 to March 31, 2024

2023-2024 ANJCS Speech Contest 紐澤西中文學校協會 校際演講比賽

The ANJCS YoYo contest will take place at Marlboro Middle School (355 County Rd 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746) on April 13, 2024 (Saturday) 9:30am – 12:00pm.

If you are able to spare more time to our community, we would be very thankful. There are still a few open slots left to sign up!
