PCLS 2020-2021 Registration – Early Bird Discount (5/3 – 6/1)
Registration for 2020-2021 has begun (For details and all related attachment, please refer to PCLS 2020-2021 Registration email sent on 5/3). Take the advantage of Early Registration by 6/1 ($40 Discount, first choice of culture classes and parent duties, etc). The following culture classes are quite popular so please register early before they reach the size limit: TaeKwonDo 跆拳道, Chinese Abacus and Mental Math 兒童珠心算, Chinese Knotting 中國結, Chinese Yoyo 扯鈴.

PCLS online Summer Camp will be ON
Thank you for those 42 families participating in the survey and providing us valuable feedback. Among these participants, 60% replied YES and 27% replied UNCERTAIN for this online Summer Camp. As a result, we decided to run the online summer camp to serve PCLS families during summer. Details will be announced after our volunteer staff’s further planning.If you have any suggestions, you can still click the
Google Form to complete the short survey by
5/10 midnight. It takes less than 3 minutes (one response per parent please). We will draw
TWO lucky winners on the 5/30 parent meeting. Each winner will receive
$20 tuition off voucher and 3 surgical masks. YOU can be that winner.
Parent Duty Refund checks (School year 2019-2020)
For the parents who had signed up and fulfilled their duty but didn’t collect their refund check when we were still at PDS, you should have received an email indicating that we’ll mail your $150 checks.
For the other group of parents who received another email, we appreciate that you signed up for the parent duty and intended to help the school, and therefore we will still be issuing the refundable deposit ($150) based on the sign up prior to the last day at PDS.
All the parent duty refund checks are mailing out this weekend. Please expect it next week.
Teacher Appreciation Card
I’ve received six more appreciation cards shared by parents (Please see attached files for their lovely artwork). As I announced earlier, all students participating in this event will receive two extra coupons for the next coupon day. They are: Otto Volpenhein, Sebastian Silva, Olivia Tsai, Kyle Chen (陳澤凱), Railey Chen (陳澤勵), Hunter Chen (陳澤翰), Railey Chen (陳佑阡), Mason Chen (陳廷亦).Thank you for the beautiful messages and cards from all children and parents sharing their appreciation for our PCLS teachers and staff in recognition of their hard work.
In this difficult time, let’s express appreciation about people’s help and feel grateful for what we’ve got. Please keep in mind that we are a community that looks out for and supports each other.
